Teppanyaki

Teppanyaki is a way of cooking. Teppan means iron pan and yaki stands for grilling in Japanese. Teppanyaki is literally translated as “Grilling on an iron plate”. In Japanese cuisine teppanyaki style cooking is applied to meats and seafood. It’s also used for dough-based foods, as for example yakisoba (fried noodles).
